Speaking of our Detroit Tigers, he's our very own OHHS graduate class of 1960, Mickey Stanley.  Mick played for the Tigers from 1965 until 1978.  He moved from his usual position of centerfield to short stop for the 1968 World Series.

Stanley still looks like could play.  He married classmate Ellen Terrell and celebrated their 50th anniversery in 2011.  Mick lives in Brighton Michigan and winters in Naples Florida.  He plays to an 18 handicap!
